I surely do love tea cups! Tomorrow perhaps will be a post with pretty tea pots. What is you favorite kind of tea? I, for one, am partial to Darjeeling.

This week, I have been listening to Zee Avi's Darling and Charles Trenet's La Mer and Che Gelida Manina from La Boheme (and I have also been writing papers and studying and taking tests, but that is much less noteworthy).
P.s. This is maybe one of my favorite photographs of myself.

I super love Ban.do's new Black Label collection, modeled by the ever-lovely Alison Sudol! Sadly, it is very much out of my price range at from $250 to $350 per beautiful creation. However, Ban.do does have other stunning headbands for as little as $35, and my birthday is coming up...!

Tonight I saw Bishop Allen at my college and they were amazing! I was so excited that they played Oklahoma, but sad that they did not play The News From Your Bed. I wonder if they met Michael Cera when they played in Nick and Norah's.
Finally, I have my laptop back! Yes, it has been difficult these past 5 days to live without my computer, but now everything is all better. Now I must just get acquainted with this new Macbook and I will be peachy keen. I feel like I am somehow betraying my old computer, but it was the one who decided to fall on the floor, so really it only has itself to blame.
P.s. If anyone has an excellent idea for my new laptop's name, I would love to hear!

If you would be so kind and vote "yes!" for my Threadless slogan submission, I would greatly appreciate it! It is "If I were Captain Ahab, I would be having a whale of a time." And I think it would be pretty nifty on a t-shirt myself.

So earlier today, Alex Day was relating to me (yeah, ok, to youtube) that he ran right into Noah and the Whale at a recording studio. First of all, I can't even imagine myself running into Noah and the Whale, let alone Alex Day running into them. That would be like something out of a crazy amazing dream. Anyway, a Noah and the Whale with Alex Day singing collaboration would be super fantastic and mind-blowing. Indeed.
P.S. I really really really like Alex Day's glasses in the photo above. Just thought I'd share.
